Licencing Citizen Literacy Content and Confidentiality
Citizen Literacy may at its discretion enter into licensing agreements with third parties. The details of such agreements should be considered as confidential information and may be covered by NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements).
Citizen Literacy use of Creative Commons Licences
Citizen Literacy may publish some its content under the terms of a Creative Commons Licence. Generally, the licence used will be an ‘attribution only’ licence indicated by the use of the Creative Commons icon or the letters ‘CC BY’ shown below with a web link to the terms of the licence. This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use. These licenses are legally enforceable.
The Creative Commons Licence initiative is aimed at simplifying copyright law for people to encourage the sharing of content. You can find more information at this web link, https://creativecommons.org/.
