Here, Diane describes her journey into adult literacy from being an ESOL teacher through community work and the experiences that have inspired her along the way to give her the motivations she has for working in this area. Diane describes her development of the ‘City Phonics’ adult literacy course at City of Glasgow College and the subsequent in the development of the Citizen Literacy App and resources.
